hey guys this is Caleb with DSLR video shooter and today we're talking about why I'm switching to arca-swiss plates I've been using men Frodo style quick release plates these sliding ones that come with a lot of tripods for a long time I recently made the switch to ARCA Swiss style plates for several reasons and a lot of you guys have noticed me using them so I wanted to go over why I made the switch what I like about ARCA Swiss what arca-swiss is and some of the things I don't necessarily am crazy about since this stuff is kind of small let's go ahead and head over to the bench and get a closer look so why do I love ARCA Swiss well first these things are cheap like anything if you want to spend a lot of money you can you can find some you know more expensive versions of really anything in the world but these guys if you want to save some money you can get some really affordable plates
