hi one hour smart him here and today we're going to show you how to install a screwless cover plate for an outlet so we've got our existing outlet here all we're going to do is remove this existing cover plate install the new screwless wall plate and then get this thing done so go ahead and turn the power off at the circuit breaker and that can help make the job a little bit safer so now we're just going to remove these two screws on both sides of the existing wall cover plate so just take that one off and then we're going to take the other one off over here now we've got the outlet exposed and we're ready to install our wall plate so this wall plate is a lutron claro wall plate we'll include a link to those below but there are a couple other options as well that are screwless cover plates that will work for outlets so the screwless outlet cover plate actually is two pieces you can see
