Light amber #0016 Gel Filter

brian here from BtoB calm we're going to discuss the nikon sb-700 particularly about these flash filter gels that come with it a lot of questions have come up about what their purpose is and when to use them so I particularly use them often and I use them when I'm mixing ambient light with flashlights so an example of this is if I'm shooting a wedding and I'm in a reception and it's a dimly lit reception hall with incandescent lighting I will use the incandescent filter on my flash to fill in the shadows and lighting typically I bounce the flash and then I use that and reset my white balance to match the color temperature of both the flash and the lighting in the room so the first step is to match the flash with the proper filter gel to the to match the color of the lighting in the room so if you're in incandescent lighting you use the amber filter if you're in fluorescent lighting you
