DXR-701 Digital Receiver Linear Solutions Wireless Supervised SecurityThe DXR-701 is a digital receiver with a built in isolated relay output and it is designed for use with Linears DX Format transmitters. This receiver can be used with multiple different remote control applications. When the receiver identifies a signal from a transmitter with which it is paired the relay output will be activated. The relay has four optional output configurations. The receiver is normally attached to an alarm control panel door strike camera high current relay or some other device in most installations. A transmitter must be used to control or activate the DXR-701 receiver. The receiver should be secured with the mounting bracket that is supplied and it should be indoors or outdoors in a non-metallic building to protect it from the weather.Cutting jumpers select how the relay activates. The factory setting causes the relay to engage for four seconds every time it is activated. The relay has the option to be set to engage for one second toggle on with the first activation and then off with the next or latch engaged until reset by pressing the program button. A nine-inch wire lead functions as the receivers antenna. The red program indicator will light up during RF reception. The installer can confirm that signals are being sent from transmitters and diagnose interference issues by inspecting the indicator. The indicator will also light up during memory programming/erasing and it will flash to count the number of transmitters in memory.The digital DX transmitters are pre-coded in the factory so that no field coding is required and the DX code format is equipped with more than a million possible codes.
