to attach the mounting corners you will need a match that has been attached to the backing board the mounting corner is a weight and a barrier to place the weight on the first thing we do is place the photograph on the backing board and Center it under the mat we then placing matboard scrap on the photo and place a weight on top of it so the photo will not move when we attach the hinges to the backing board we then take the mounting corners and slip it on the corner of the photograph they are self-adhesive so once you have inserted it on the corner just press it down on the backing board continue the process until all four corners are adhered to the backing board you can now remove the weight and scrap mat board from the photo your photo is now ready to frame
