hey guys what's up I know what this is analog resurgence and today I'm talking about the stereo realist 3d camera this is legendary Hollywood icon Bob Hope this is Bob Hope holding a stereo realist camera this double lens camera was able to take 3d pictures using 35 millimeter film and judging by these old ads a ton of people in Hollywood loved this thing here it is in the hands of John Wayne Vincent Price Joan Crawford Charlton Heston and maybe the biggest fan of the camera silent film star legend Harold Lloyd so the stereo realist was a camera designed by a man named Seaton Raj white in 1947 and it went on to become the biggest selling 3d stereo camera of all time previously in the 1930s stereo photography which was the method of taking two images at the same time in order to create 3d pictures was pretty much limited to only large format cameras Raj white became interested in stereo
