in this video we're going to talk about the new battery slide for the sony fs7 it's an adjustable mounting system for attaching a v-mount or gold mount plate directly to the camera body without rods it's very similar to our original battery slide in that you can unlock the thumb screw and slide and tilt to a new position you can also simply grab the plate and tilt it without undoing the thumb screw giving you access to the sony battery on the back the battery slide will accept standard v-mount or gold mount hole patterns and in this configuration we've installed the wc gold mount for the fs7 now we're ready to install our brick battery once that's locked in we can slide and tilt to a new position and gain access to the battery in the back with the two batteries installed you can hot swap between one or the other without losing camera power these products are all available in our store n
