Mean Well DR-30-24 Ac to DC DIN-Rail Switching Power Supply, 24VDC, 1.5A, 36W

hello I'm JW today we've got this power supply here now this is actually from some LED lighting and it's supposed to be the 240 volts goes in that socket on the end there just two connections and we're supposed to get 12 volts DC out of this but unfortunately no longer work so though we can shut power in there absolutely nothing comes out of this end so oops to take this thing apart see how it's made inside and hopefully find out actually what's gone wrong with it now here's the supply here's just got all of those figure eight type connections on the end here and that's just your mains input so 100 to 240 volts 50 or 60 Hertz so all of this will be universal type things and so we're supposed to get 12 volt DC here and as we see that's supposed to be 12 volts up to 2.5 amps now this particular item was fitted to some LED lighting and it was only fitted last year which was 2015 and having
