all right so we're working here with a Nikon d610 and a promote GPS in ninety first thing we return on the camera we're going to look for a GPS indicator on the 610 and some other Nikon cameras there will be there won't be GPS indicator on the top LCD it's only on the back and you can find that by hitting the info button on the 610 it's on the bottom right on some other nikon's it shares a button on the left so we're going to hit info there won't be anything yet I'm going to turn on the promote GPS and you can see immediately it finds the GPS indicator which shows that the GPS is there now it's already locked when you first turn it on it will take up to a minute maybe depending on your conditions but we have an immediate lock because it's already found satellites
