hey everyone its Colin how's it going there have been a wide variety of computing choices in different form factors of course but each has been a compromise between functionality quality and cost with that in mind could this category bending device from 2015 still be relevant five years later this is the Microsoft Surface 3 it's a hybrid between a laptop and tablet that launched in May of 2015 though it has a similar name it shouldn't be confused with its higher end and more expensive sibling the surface pro 3 for reasons we'll get to in a bit it was meant to be a lower-cost option to draw attention to Microsoft's x86 based Hardware lineup which was new at the time after the relative disaster that was Windows RT which itself is a story probably best say for another time the hardware specs of the surface 3 weren't much to be impressed by back then and of course they seemed paltry today t
