hi and Ramoji back here in this video I'm going to show you how easy it is to change the wall plates of your ducted vacuum system maybe you're repainting or renovating or there's a faulty valve and needs to be replaced we'll show you how to do it today the first step as always is to turn the power off to a ducted vacuum system there are wires that run to the back of these wall plates it is a low voltage power supply but for safety reasons it's always best to turn the power off first generally the only tool you'll need for this job is a number two phillips driver the screwdriver or Electric cordless driver like I've got here and the first step is to take the two screws off the face of the inlet on the wall depending on how long these wall plates have been in place you may need to wiggle them slightly to help release once you've pulled it off don't come out too far as there will be wires
