it is easily set up and the phone can be easily placed in the holder it has large holder you can use it for selfies and use the remote to take videos and pictures by yourself or with families muy facilita uta is our winery practical perfect fit for my iphone 8 plus didn't try the remote control yet but i don't need it anyway for the use i will give it phones fits right in and very strong great for shooting either direction i like that it's a clamp and not a spring assisted mechanism that holds the phone it's easy to adjust by swiveling the securing knob fits my existing tripod i haven't used the remote just yet i'll check back and let you know how that goes it's a good buy-in at the time i purchased mine the remote was included at the same price as similar units without a remote why not opt for the better offer note if you appreciated this review please give it a thumbs up slash like yo
