Nikon Focusing Screen Type G1 for Nikon F3 Cameras

[Music] today i'm going to show you how to put one of these into one of these i'm going to go through the different models to tell you how to put a focusing screen into your film camera starting with the nikon f a couple of things you will need i'm using jazz hands i'm using i'm using cotton gloves to do this because focusing screens are a real pain to clean if you get a fingerprint on them but you can also use a soft cloth on your surface and just be sure not to put your fingertip on the actual glass of the screen i've also got a pen with a very soft point you can use a standard biro pen lid to do this but this is just so that i don't scratch a camera when i'm pushing the release button to take the head off which i'm going to show you shortly i've also got just a lens cleaning cloth which is great for those little tiny stubborn bits of dust and you may want some compressed air or an ai
