Radial BackTrack 2-Ch Active Direct Box and Audio Switcher

[Music] hello Sam from sound on sound magazine I'm here at the AES Show in New York with Ryan from radial engineering right Ryan's gonna tell us about this new blue box he's got which is called the backtrack right yes the backtrack so based on our popular sw8 auto switcher which is being used in countless tours around the world the principal of that unit was that it you have eight channels in with two different playback rigs so if one of the rig's should fail you have a test tone going to the a side that drops out it automatically switches to the B side so these are the estimator is one of our most popular devices so what we found is that a lot of smaller performers are acts and things like that that are doing a lot of club circuits aren't using like full audio interfaces with with backing tracks they're using a couple of iPads or a couple of you know pcs that just with the audio output
