hey guys this is Ethan kt7 2ux I just wanted to talk today about converting from a 3/8 by 24 commonly considered a CB radio antenna mount to an MMO antenna mount now this is oftentimes used by hams also for HF use I was using a super antenna mp1 on a 3/8 by 24 mount people use ham sticks on three it's by 24 mounts so they are very commonly used still by hams in mobile configurations but I have more use now for an actual and ammo mount on my rig than I do one of these I don't run HF anymore in my truck and so I want to convert it to nmo the other reason is it is very easy to find an adapter from nmo 2 3 it's by 24 it is very difficult to find an adapter if it's even made I don't believe it's made that converts from this 3 it's by 24 to an mo mount so I am completely replacing the mounting hardware in my truck to nmo now what I'm not doing is completely taking off the mounting bracket I a
