today I have something special on the bench and it's not a tube amplifier some old tube equipment it's my Commodore 64 and what I'm going to do is in trying to preserve this unit this is my original Commodore 64 from I believe like 1982 I'm going to replace the electrolytic capacitors sometime this thing sometimes this thing acts a bit squirrely a lot of the power supply boat has been tested and I used the Carlson power supply for this I don't use one of the original ones but I'd like to since I have a couple of these I'd like to take out the capacitors and throw them up on the on the heath kit there on the i.t 11 and see how they're doing but obviously I'm not going to put them back I have brand new capacitors that I've ordered from Newark element14 and I will provide the list of the capacitors I got them written here but I have a nice list on my blog so you'll see them there I've got
