hi I'm Shannon here from host improvements calm and today's video we're gonna show how to install a hanging microwave unit so this would be the microwave that generally would be installed over top of your range top you know it has the fan venting fan and everything in it as well you'll get your unit all out of the packaging you'll find all your miscellaneous bolts and nuts and bits and pieces you're gonna find a wall mounting bracket and there's a few different variations but it'll be something like this you're also gonna find a couple templates you're gonna need a template that goes up underneath the bottom side of the cupboard above the unit and and helps you mark out all your holes then there's gonna be a template a lot of times it's paper in this case it's just part of the box but template that goes on the back wall hooks the back wall here also for determining some hole locations s
