hi this is John with fix-it planet today we're gonna replace a screen on the surface pro 5 this is the 1796 model and we're gonna go over some warnings and some lessons learned from mistakes that have been made by others that I have found online and I'm gonna put a link in the description below for you to read as well and this is just got a little bit of damage in the corner here so this is gonna make the rest of the screens in good shape so it's gonna make it a lot easier for us to remove the screen now we've already started this repair that's not exactly start-to-finish right there's your video connector right next to the keyboard where the keyboard connects in the bottom left corner you'll find the digitizer control board and you can just see the Flex cables plugged into that here I'm just getting off screen a little bit sorry about that but I'll come back open it a little bit more a
