The Vivotek-SD8111 Speed Dome Network Camera is capable of recording at 30 frames per second in 720 x 480 video resolution. The Vivotek-SD8111 Speed Dome Network Camera features a 12x optical zoom lens and a 1/4" SONY EXview HAD CCD image sensor.

It also features WDR Enhancement, which allows the camera to balance the lighting and produce a high-quality image in very bright or dark environments. Further enhancing the image quality is the IR cut filter, enabling the camera to block out infrared light and only allow visible light to pass through.

The Vivotek-SD8111 has the 2D / 3D noise reduction to eliminate environmental noise and provide a clear nighttime image. A sophisticated pan/tilt mechanism allows the SD8111 to quickly and precisely pan a full 360° and tilt up to 90°.

The SD / SDHC card slot lets the user record snapshots and video clips locally. A few more features offered by the SD8111 are two-way audio support, 3GPP mobile device access, and digital I/O for external alarms and sensors.

The Vivotek-SD8111 includes a 32 channel Vivotek central management software.
