The polyethylene (PE) material of most shipping pouches has a NATURAL NEGATIVE CHARGE to it so when the paper backing is peeled back static electricity is the result and it tries to find something to stick to. If the box is not RIGHT THERE, it finds something else - your FINGERS or maybe ITSELF and that's what creates the problem. The Thank You Pouch uses thick, SPECIALLY TREATED PAPER so when it's peeled off the envelope doesn't collapse on itself.
