okay i just received my nikon tripod from korea i bought this on march 18 2012 and today is March 31st 2012 so it took around 13 days from the date i purchased it online to the day i received it and it has the nikon logo on the boxes on the box and it's got several logos system icon all around the box and says here from South Korea and there's say Korean the writing on the side sess nikon tripod nkt dash 05 and let me get my macro lens so you can see it i'll use the 10 x 21 millimeter my macro lens so as you can see the tripod itself is made in Korea these are the specifications 106 centimeters which equals to 41 inches and it can take a carrying load of 420 grams and we can look that up on my computer what 420 grams sway in pounds so it has a carrying capacity of point nine pounds which isn't that much at all there are other tripods that i was looking at but i think i didn't find out a
