[Music] to remove the Mitsubishi oba encoders first remove their protective cover then disconnect the encoder wiring harness and ground terminal now remove both bolts holding down the encoder sensor and remove the sensor make sure to note the linear position of the glass disk relative to the motor shaft then loosen the two set screws and remove the glass disk [Music] to install and align the encoder first install the glass disk insert the set screw to help keep temporary position make sure to set the linear distance of the disk as noted previously then fully install the encoder sensor [Music] now connect the motors power and feedback cables to our test equipment [Music] perform a count test in the wind TI 5000 JX software by rotating the motor four times this will confirm the encoder is testing well if errors occur check the spacing of the glass disc and make sure it is clean next switc
