Philips PROSUMER 48IN LED LCD MON 19X1

hi welcome back to fix until broken today we're going to fix or trash a giant Philips TV this is a 47 F TV you can see here it was a December 2008 so it's fairly old this TV spring fine and then it stopped working wouldn't come on after about three months of phoning in 2008 probably 2009 sometime the motherboard went out we had to do a warranty repair that went well but it kind of had the same problem now that it's eight years old not much is going to be to fix this so this is one of the old-style LCD TV with cathode tubes in it so it is very inefficient compared to modern TVs you zoom out here let's get see how large it is now you can see over here there's a bunch of inputs the speakers are on the back which is just ridiculous why would you have speakers on the back of the TV ah doesn't make any sense why they would do that new TVs I think they have them the bottom in the front anyway
