hey everybody bohus here speaking for fotodioxpro.com and in this video I want to show you a new concept in lens adapters it's the Leica M 2 Sony e-mount DL X stretch now you know that at fotodiox we have more than 400 different lens and camera adapters and that's a lot so we're always looking for new ways to make lens adapters even more interesting even more exciting and so we came up with the DL X stretch and here's what it does actually if you look at it while I'm rotating this orange ring you can see that the adapter is actually getting longer that's the stretch part we're actually stretching the distance between the rear lens element of the Leica M and the Sony sensor so some of you have may have figured out oh that means any Leica M lens can now be a macro lens which is cool like a-m lenses have beautiful optics nice low-light performance and so you can get pretty incredible macro
