Our concentrated Jewelweed Prevention lotion, if applied before exposure to poison plants will protect the skin naturally using the components in the jewelweed to fight off the urushiol, the allergic and poisonous oil found in ivy, oak and sumac. The strong antihistamine properties in the jewelweed plant make it a great treatment as well for these poison rash aliments. It speeds healing and stops the itch from poison rashes as well as bug bites, bee stings, hives and burns from stinging nettle. Our jewelweed salve is for the treatment of these aliments. Our jewelweed soap is used for washing with after exposure to poison ivy, oak or sumac. This soap will help to prevent a rash by helping to control and wash away infected oils from the skin.
