hey guys today we're going to be making a new charger for the ipod shuffle second generation as you can see i already have one but some people may buy a shuffle and it doesn't have one you can see i'll be using a 4-pole audio jack i will also be using a usb end that i cut off some old charging cable so let's get started right now i am testing the continuity on the audio jack and the usb end to see which pole goes to which end on the usb if you'd like to buy anything i have used in this video you can check it out in the link in the description now i've checked to see which pole goes to which pin on the usb end so now i'll need to use my aux cable and see which pole goes to which color cable now somehow i managed to break the end off of the aux cable so i won't be able to make one of these now because i don't have another 4-pole audio jack but i will still show you how to make one here's
