[Music] here's this week's my boat feature this week on my boat we're going to tackle a challenge with the battery charger this old one hasn't been working right need to replace it not only are we gonna replace it we're gonna upgrade it so we're gonna show you how to install the pro notic 1260 p smart charger first and foremost on any project working with power is to shut it all down for safety so after cutting shore power deactivate the battery solenoids and remove all negative connections to the batteries to break the circuit then remove the old charger step one is cutting the AC power wires coming to the charger then cut the wires running to the battery banks now the old charger is just dead weight so a few quick screws and it's held with the old the new more powerful Pro Mariner charger is about the same size as the old one so it should fit in the same spot but good to check before
