Product review & video
hey guys there's doubt two facts here and this is a video that I've wanted to do for a while and what I'm going to show you in this video is how to put together a cat5 cable both a straight through and also a crossover cable cat5 cable Ethernet cable what I have in front of me is the pin out for both these straight through and the crossover that you need to know to make those cables let's first talk about the pin out on the cat5 so you see there are actually two sections mentioned here let me kind of put this in the frame here so you can see it top part is a EIA 568a and the bottom part is the EIA 568b and you'll notice that the color between these two differ slightly so what you need to know is that if you're making a straight-through cat5 cable what you want is that both end of that cable to have this same pin up okay so if you have same pin out on both ends of that one cable then it'
