hello a little while ago i did a review of the topping nx3 and it is a external headphone amplifier it's a analog input and an analog output today i'm going to look at the topping nx4 which is a very similar look and fill and it also has a analog input and an analog output has the same controls the volume the bass boost and the gain switch but the nx 4 is also a dac and it also accommodates dsd signals so i'll try to make a few measurements i'll do a quick tear down and look at the insides we'll take a look at the circuit board here we can see the model number and version number of this circuit board it appears to be a version 2.2 right here and i've been surprised at the component makeup of this circuit board it is primarily uh the ics are made by texas instruments xmos and ess so i'm going to apologize for how the slow update rate of my microphone or the slow update rate of my usb cam
