Sony's car stereos are some of my favorites and my new number one is the X AV a X 5,000 the xav a X 5,000 features a beautiful bezel-less panel allowing for a seamless display and a six point nine five inch capacitive touchscreen is one of the best I've ever felt capacitive screens are more comparable to smartphone screens they feel like glass they're extremely responsive and offer pinch and zoom controls on maps unlike clear resistive screens although it's not HD the display still offers razor-sharp clarity vibrant bright colors and excellent contrast the screen is an active-matrix LCD so it holds up great against sunlight and off access viewing you'll notice right away that the stereo lacks a disc slot which I'm fully on board with I haven't listened to a CD since 2009 with my Creed Greatest Hits deluxe album so they're kind of pointless today you can set fire to every CD on the plane
