Description
Radial SGI Studio Guitar Interface is a transmit (SGI-TX) and receive (SGI-RX) pair of modules that allows a guitar signal to travel across 500 feet of balanced cable to a distant amplifi er. The SGI is a unity gain device that features 100% discreet Class-A circuitry for great sound and transformer isolation to eliminate ground loops.
For the studio, the SGI allows the guitarist to play in the control room while listening to the studio monitors. For live performance, the SGI allows amplifi ers to be located off stage while improving sound and reliability over wireless systems. Drive a guitar signal 300 feet without loss 100% discreet class-A electronics Drag Control pickup load correction Transformer isolated to eliminate noise Routes using standard balanced XLR cable The Radial SGI studio guitar interface allows a guitar signal to travel 100 meters (328 feet) over a standard balanced XLR mic cable. This enables the guitarist to play through a distant amplifier while listening to the performance in the control room. On large stages, the SGI allows a guitar signal to travel from the wireless system to a pedal board and amplifier. The SGI employs a proprietary drive and balancing circuit that is made up of two modules: the SGI-TX transmit module and SGI-RX receive module. The SGI-TX is active with 100% discreet class-A circuitry and Drag control load correction to ensure the most natural sound. The SGI-RX is completely passive. To eliminate hum and buzz caused by ground loops, each module is equipped with isolation transformers that are wired in opposing directions to counteract any artifact. Best of all, the SGI is plug & play easy to use and comes equipped with power supply.

Product review & video
hi there my name is Peter Janus and I'm here from radial engineering to tell you guys about the radial SGI the SGI is a two-box device what it allows you to do is run really long guitar cables and let me kind of explain why that's important when you typically take the guitar ouput and go to an amplifier because the cable is high impedance high impedance cables are very very susceptible to noise so that noise is caused by dimmers lighting systems transformers guitar amplifiers noises everywhere cell phones all of that stuff attacks those cables and high impedance cables are particularly sensitive to noise so what the SGI basically does it does it's called the SGI studio guitar interface what you do is you plug your guitar in here then you take a typical XLR cable kinda like where it's like kind like a DI box where you plug the XLR cable here and then the other end of the cable here into
