hi this is Dave with front-end audio.com I'm here to talk to you today about the a RTS a balanced microphone splitter it's a rackmount splitter and it's designed for input of eight different mic inputs to go into two outputs and allowing you to connect to two different mixing consoles whether you use this in a live sound situation or studio application it should work very well for either one I'll go over a few of the features on it going from one end to the other you have each of the eight different XLR inputs and each input has a twenty nine decibel pad switch so that if you had a high level signal coming in from say an instrument pre amplifier or keyboard you could Pat it down by 29 DB and then next to it there's a ground lift switch so if you encounter any ground issues with other devices whether it be an amplifier or our other source then you can use the ground lift to your advantag
