hey guys JD here again so today we're going to talk to you about the line splitter right here you can see the Cline 69 400 line splitter and I'm going to show you why that line splitter is important to use if you wanted to check the amperage of this Bank of lights that I have lit right here and you wanted to use a clamp meter you would think just clamp on to this and you get your amperage reading what you'll see is that you actually don't get a reading at all the reason for this is that in this wire you've got a hot and a neutral running through well those signals will cancel it's each other out when when the clamp meter is clamped around it so in this case what we would want to do is actually split the lines apart so here with the line splitter you'll see that as this plugs in right here you'll see that the hot wire goes one way and the neutral goes the other right here you're going to
