Realistic Pro-57 10-Channel Programmable Scanning Receiver

today I'm looking at an old Radio Shack realistic PR Oh 2021 programmable scanner this particular scanner has been in storage for a while but it seems to work ok I've reset all of the memories and I'm going to reprogram some new frequencies into this and put it back into service before I do that I'll just kind of quickly go through the radio's features and functions before I start the program anything into it as you can see the layout is fairly basic there's a volume and a squelch knob all the programming keys are here and obviously the display is here now it may not be real visible in the camera just because the lighting down here but the the screen is backlit blue although the backlight is a little bit weak now you can see that on the side of the unit there are some thumb screws this could be mounted manually or to an under shelf bracket or something like that on the back of the unit
