Replacement Washing Machine Timer Knob replaces GE WH01X10061

Hi it’s Steve from PartSelect. Today, we are going to show you how to change the timer knob and clip on your washer and it’s a really easy job, all we are going to need is a pair of needle nose pliers, let me show you how we do it. Now to do this repair we’ll begin by pushing in on the timer knob and rotating the dial to the off position, and if you can’t move the timer dial on your particular washer, you will need to unplug the washer from the power supply, and we are just going to pull out on that knob, and if the retaining clip is still in place the knob won’t come out any further than that, so with a pair of needle nose pliers we’ll reach in behind and we’ll take hold of that clip, and just pull it completely off and then we can pull the knob off of the timer shaft.
