everyone this is Mike with ultimate tech up and today we're covering a phone jack flying to a cat six line be sure to hit subscribe for me it's really important he keeps his channel alive and it's free [Music] okay you'll need two parts to complete this conversion first is a one part wall plate I paid a bad dollar for it it's white second part you'll need is a cat six wall jack plug it's also white and I paid about five dollars for this and if I look these parts at Home Depot or Lowe's okay let's get started first remove the two screws to hold a faceplate through the wall I used two cordless drill but you can use any kind of screwdriver [Music] once the faceplate is removed you can set the wires to expose of cat6 wires and you can see the two blue wires the blue and the blue light to connect the phone jet just go ahead and cut that wire and throw a little jack plate now I'm going to cut
