[Music] alright guys welcome back we are on video 3 of this series of our product comparison between the prime punch and power families in this videos I said before we are going to take a look at the woofers and some of the technology behind the different rockford woofers that we manufacture so let's get right into talking about some of the technologies first off what we want to talk about is vast or a vertical attached surround technique the vast technology that's used by rockford allows us to increase overall cone area by 25% of our woofers the way we do this is instead of the traditional flat surround attached technique around the perimeter of the woofer we actually are mounting it in a vertical channel this allows us to move the outer edge of the surround outward toward the outer perimeter of the woofer thus moving the inner surround out and gating cone area second let's talk about
