hi I'm Bob with LPS computer today I'm a very common problem with the designjet 800 and that is the air Oh fly of : 10 the O 5 : 10 is actually the printer telling you that the formatter bore in this machine is no longer working the formatter lives in the this back corner of the machine and it's usually covered with a cover that looks like the Z shaped piece of plastic I will show you how to get that out and then replace the formatter we replaced the black cover with a beige cover from a designjet 500 very close relative to this machine just to make it easier to see on the video there's a narrow one on the plastic and all you need to do is press in on that and it will unlatch from here and here and then you can just lift it out of the machine very easy to get the this is the formatter right here it's plugged into the electronics module they're not talking to each other anymore that's wh
