stay tuned to this video if you've got an lg tv that's died and you want to buy a new one because I might just be able to save you some money so in today's video we're going to get an lg tv which has problems with the backlight and turns off after about two seconds you can still hear the audio but the picture is completely gone and we're going to get it on the bench and have a look see what the problem is the one thing I must say is please make sure that if you're going to try this make sure that the TV is powered off there's no connections to any supply or anything and that you've left it for at least 24 hours to allow all the capacitors and voltages inside the TV to die down before you even attempt to touch it okay so this is the small connector on the bottom of the screen and that connects into here which is the volume and on/off circuit board and the infrared board which is this one
