hi I'm Lea with your few common we're here with Samsung's mu 9000 led 4k smart HDR TV the MU 9000 uses an edge lit LED backlight so it still gets really bright and has pretty good contrast and it does have software local dimming instead of full Hardware full array local dimming it's still got the expanded color and higher brightness that lets it do pretty good HDR it just doesn't hit quite the same parameters as the Q LED TVs it's still a really bright with a colorful TV but it doesn't have quite the same degree of performance as the culet models well the main reason to go with the MU 9000 instead of the culet is basically you're saving a good bit of money by not paying for foreign guys for example samsung's q7 the most affordable 65 inch hue LED TV I think it's about $2,500 versus the 65 inch mu 9000 is 1800 so you're saving about $700 and you're losing some brighten to send some color
