what's up guys Mike here the Detroit Borg with a quick look at Samsung's newest portable SSD the t5 so this is replacing the t3 which is an SSD I've had before so we're gonna compare them side-by-side to see how they differ now this is a favorite among video creators who need a lot of fast stores for editing 4k video on the go so this is a great option for people who need a fast scratch disc for video editing now the changes between the T 3 and T 5 really come down to three things we get a new design that's all-metal instead of a combination of plastic and metal we also get a faster second generation USB 3.1 port and faster v NAND flash so this can now transfer speeds up to 540 Meg's per second so once again these drives are available in four capacities with very similar pricing to the t3 it's replacing so we have 250 gigs 500 gigs as I have one terabyte or two terabytes now they do get
