I'm Josh I'm amped here we have the Samsung smartthings outlet this is all part of a whole series from Samsung it's really designed to connect your house all over your house and for many functions one of which is the outlet so whatever's plugged into the outlet can now be controlled from your smartphone and it works with just about any smartphone the app you download is easy to set it up all you need is the hub there's a thing called the smartthings hub and that's gonna be a little box that's gonna plug into your home network with a cat5e cat6 cable and then power and now that creates this this smartthings network from Samsung and to set this up keep in mind that you really want to set it up pretty close somewhere around 15 feet away from the Smart Hub and that's kind of where you start the setup process is relatively simple I just held down the button plugged it into an outlet and then
