hi I'm the shadows nose and I'm back with a little tutorial video tonight I show you how to clean a three and a half inch floppy drive yeah you don't need too much for it you need some q-tips or cotton swabs and a little bit of isopropyl alcohol it's called in English I guess it's not ordinary rubbing alcohol it's clean up here in Germany you can get a 50 milliliter bottle like this for a couple of bucks in every pharmacy and it lasts for four years so yeah first of all you have to open the drive with this particular particular model it's quite easy you just have to and you can use a screwdriver for that just remove the metal lid and you're inside the drive it's not exactly the same with oil drives but yeah we have to figure out for yourself for each model and over here we have the to read and write heads so those are the ones you have to clean freely take a cotton swab or q-tip make it
