Over the first 6 to 30 hours, the speaker will actually have a different frequency response. So, if you are putting new speakers into your monitoring environment, your editing bay, they are going to change and you want to get used to them right away. So this is a way to fast-track the response to loosen up the glue to get the speaker to have a faster compliance Because they are a little stiff when they first come out.
