hey everyone welcome to arts and crafts with cpo today we're going to take a speaker pod from the tj this is a 2004 tj with the speaker pods instead of the full speaker bar i'm going to replace the five and a quarter inch speakers with these six and a half inch speakers and i'll show you how i do it um granted they do stick out a little bit more these are almost flush not quite flush and these clearly stick out more but i did get them mounted and by the way let me show you what i'm putting in so i'm going with these guys these are the jbl uh gto 629 grand touring series and yeah i saw some more online that people were able to successfully fit the larger speakers the six and a half speakers inside the factory hole for the five and a quarter so i thought hey more inches is better when it comes to speakers so why not so upgrading these um because my son uh had sort of a blowout on one of h
