this video is for if you're doing the oil change on a acura tlx um it's pretty much the same for all the years 17 millimeter drain bolt i'm gonna unscrew that let the oil drain out make sure your uh thing can hold five quarts some of them make smaller than five quarts there's your drain plug just unscrew that your oil filter is conveniently right here so once that's finished draining we'll scoot this over a bit take this oil filter off while the oil is draining you can go ahead up here and just plug this off that's release the vacuum in the engine and then you can see how it uh drains faster well it would have drained faster you can do it before you take the drain plug off i wait so when you take this plug out you don't have tons of oil shooting out it helps to get it out easier without making a mess so before you can get to the oil plug this is going to be a metal pan cover protecting
