The Shure SB902 is a lithium-ion
battery which is specific to the Shure GLX-D Digital Wireless Systems. The GL X-D system comes with two options to charge the battery. You can use the charging
dock on the front of the receiver or connect the transmitter to a laptop with the USB cable which is supplied. There is also an optional car charger available separately. The lifespan of the battery is 10,000 hours which is equivalent to
two and a half thousand AA batteries. On a full charge with this battery, you'll get 16 hours of juice. If you're short on time you'll get an hour and a
half on a 15-minute charge. There is a display in the front of the GL XD
receiver showing the time remaining of the battery charge in hours and minutes.
