- Hello, I'm Sean Edmunds and today we're out on the water, and we're gonna walk you through, how to use and set up your Simrad® autopilot. We're gonna talk about the different controllers that you can have whether it's your MFD, whether it's an AP44, 48 and IS42 instrument, or we're gonna go into some of the steering levers, we can add some of the wireless remote controllers that we can add. We'll walk you through how to set it up, how to use it, and how to make sure you're safe on the water. So when we're talking about installing a Simrad® autopilot, the vessel, really decides what the below decks components will be. Because we're talking about outboards. We're gonna work with Virtual Rudder Feedback. If we've got fly by wire steering systems, we're working with the SGL5 junction box, with some of the big battle wagons with power assist steering systems. All of that is decided. The on
