The MSSL-ZW1 is a 15.75 inch, flexible articulating illuminator designed to provide additional side, polarized lighting wihen using Dino-Lite polarizing handheld microscopes.  Simply plug the USB connection into a USB extension cord from your PC or laptop and it is ready for use.

The serpentine arm can be positioned with a touch of a finger and adjusted as needed to provide unlimited viewing angles. The arm extends almost 16 inches to curve around obstacles for close inspection of hard-to-reach areas such as a pc motherboard or electronics module. Once the illuminator is positioned it will remain in place for hands-free operation. The polarized lighitng is controlled by simply rotating the nozzle to achieve the desired effect.

The MSSL-ZW1 is particularly useful in jewelry inspection and other applications where side lighting can enhance surface topographic details and irregularities.
