nearly everybody that's doing photography or videography will be using on their equipment quick release plates normally when you buy things like monopods or tripods they come with a quick release plate already but these are all different sizes that doesn't seem to be any particular standard that people follow a few years ago i decided to standardize all my quick release plates being new to the world of photography and videography i wasn't sure which type of plate to get so i'm sure i've done what everybody else did draw through ebay amazon and youtube to see what was available and what other people were using in the end the one that i went for was the newer quick release plate this was of a reasonable size as i had some small cameras and large heavy ones these are available from numerous sources on ebay and amazon but i will leave a link in the description below where i got mine from in
